Weekley & Warkton Cricket Club are looking to upgrade its facilities to allow Boughton Park to become safer and more inclusive for its members as well as the village and the wider community. The next step in this process is the relocation and upgrade of its cricket nets. The relocation would put the nets in a safer area away from the entry to the field, as well as providing an exceptional facility for members and the general public. The upgrade includes 3 fully enclosed nets, which will allow whole club training nights, as well as an upgrade to the field itself which will have an artificial pitch on the square. This will allow flexibility on match days, training nights, and events as a whole. Once completed, the current net situation will be removed and allow the club to further develop itself, helping us achieve our goal of becoming a community hub for Weekley and surrounding villages.
