The area desperately needs a good, accessible connection. Perhaps one of those station-type lifts could be installed or would that be too much to spend on the people of Waltham Forest and Hackney? So much for the Disability Act passed over a decade ago!

I have an 18 month old and regularly use this as it’s the only access from Leyton to the marshes for some distance. Me and my partner both struggle to carry a buggy up and down the stairs and feel that improvements need to be made ASAP.

I am 78 years old and walk with the support of a 4-wheeled shopping-trolley, which serves me as a walking-aid. I can easily use a footbridge with sloping approaches. It is impossible for me to climb stairs with my shopping-trolley.

We see so many parents struggling with this bridge. Would love to see it made into something family friendly.

The bridge needs to be buggy/wheelchair/bike safe... an additional ramp on each side would benefit the community and improve the connection to Leyton marshes.

I always use this path, it’s essential that pedestrians/cyclists have a route connecting the parks / marshes.

I use this bridge twice (times if you count each direction) a day. It's a vital piece of infrastructure that has been neglected for too long
