I love Brixton and have grown up here and in Streatham and don't want to see the amazing people moved out. Stop gentrification!

i am against the regenificatin of Brixton that causing increase in property prices and making it harder for locals and their families to afford to live here. Shame on Lambeth council who wish to change the essence of multicultural Brixton and less palces to buy yam and banana...do we really need an art gallery or wine tasting bar, hotel, luxury appartments being built!!!...worse still tourists strolling through Brixton seeing how the native live...really. Next they will rename Brixton to north Clapham!!!

Because we have to stop big brands, who destroy everything from Humans to Environment and culture to be the only things we can see in our cities just because they have loads of money (mainly thanks to their business model that destroy of Humans and Environment). Support all the motivated peoples that live and love their neighborough to make it an lively, lovely and original place instead...("clean") money will follow :)

Small businesses are the lifeblood of of a community. I lived in Brixton and shopped in these establishments - they are essential to the authenticity of the area.

Brixton owes its character to the small independent businesses in and around the market. We don't need - or want- another identikit high street.
