Many of us take the train every single day and I personally have not gone one week where there aren’t delays or issues. Having lived in 2 different countries and travelled around Europe where trains are A) Cleaner B) Cheaper and C) Run on time I can’t understand why the UK can’t get it right! Even worse, the prices are going up again in January! With wages staying the same and commuters working longer hours, it just isn’t sustainable or fair on the British Public. It seems as though it has gotten worse over the years rather than better. It’s time for the UK government to take responsibility and make a change once and for all. Whether that be train services that run on time consistently, cheaper tickets or perhaps making the railways public again, something has to change.
