We have waited long enough for this virus to arrive in The Netherlands and spread to over 382 people at the time of this petition being created. The number surpassed that of the UK despite having the first confirmed case 2 months after the UK.

Offices and schools are still open. People are travelling great distances away from home to go to work, which makes the overly crowded public transport system the perfect means to spread the disease. 

Please allow office workers, whose work can be done via the internet, to work from home as most things are on the cloud nowadays. I assume I'm not the only person coming to the office in fear of contracting the virus from the trams, trains and buses.

Of course, this doesn't mean close up shops, supermarkets or any vital organizations (police, fire departments, etc...) but only the typical offce workers that work via the internet. This statement is to avoid the internet trolls who always nitpick every detail and don't see this health emergency as a serious issue.

Those who really don't want to stay home, please carry on your daily routine as usual, but there are others who come to offices with fear of contracting or spreading the virus, myself included. It's time the Dutch government ramped up the testing / quaratine and prevention measures, as well as informing the society to take it seriously & calmly.
