Both I and close friends have suffered with eating disorders in past and present, and they can be life destroying. Recovery is a steep and difficult road, people have worked too hard to have that taken away from them by some film

Having suffered from severe anorexia for almost a decade, I feel this is very upsetting, triggering and dangerous - especially to those vulnerable to and already suffering from eating disorders. Please take it down.

Ellen's hair has volume & her skin is clear - you may have access to a $$$dietician, but if you are going to lose weight & computerise to look so emaciated, why not go all the way with the makeup team and show the malnourishment's full destruction? Her teeth aren't yellowing from all those cigarettes and she has enough energy for smarty-pants comments.
Get real. Showing real behaviour I'm all-for - ready internet access makes these ideas available anyway. But GLAMOURISING the EFFECTS of those behaviours is irresponsible and down-right criminal when lives are at stake.

I want to look emaciated and look like hell because that's how I feel inside. Nobody sees it and nobody cares. I'm so glad that there's (evidently, Lily Collins) a healthy way to get there #tothebone

I have not seen this film, but if the allegations are accurate, it is a gross simplification which could do a lot of horrible damage to people struggling with this disorder. Nobody would wish an eating disorder on themselves through a choice; I have seen this with my own family. It would be highly unethical and unprofessional to show this film.
