Juliette Reyes started this petition to Netflix and

From 365 Days, Cuties, the Kissing Booth Series, All The Bright Places, Baby, When We First Met, to 13 Reasons Why- Netflix has been promoting and producing media works that either a) glorify sexual trauma, b) promote unhealthy relationships to young audiences, and/or c) re-traumatize victims of sensitive issues.

Individual petitions have been circulated, but few have generated the support and public awareness necessary to hold Netflix accountable. Netflix has a responsibility as a global streaming platform with billions of dollars of sponsorships and endorsements. Thus, considering the platform's careless original sponsoring of problematic media and their financial power coupled with massive global influence- the company must be held to a higher standard in what it chooses to promote in its' original series.

This petition requests that Netflix do the following:

1. We request that Netflix stop promoting the listed films mentioned above, this includes the discontinuation of ads, promotion posters, and official sponsorship.

2. We request that Netflix take down said films or provide a trigger warning/disclaimer that warns audience members about the content AND provides resources that can assist audience members who get re-traumatized by said media production.

3. We request that Netflix consult focus groups of psychologists, abuse victim advocates, and other interested parties when pitching and producing films in the romance and drama category.

4.We demand that Netflix distributes all funds from the said movies to non-profit organizations that help current victims and survivors.Groups such as RAIIN, The National Center on Sex Exploitation, The Domestic Violence Hotline, The Encouraging Suriviors Org, etc.
