Everyone is bunkered down, wearing masks, and doing everything a responsible citizen should. Unfortunately that includes working still for folks who need the money, are essential employees, hold other high risk responsibilities, or any reason really. With uncertainty and stationary lives growing in number, children are and will be greatly effected by this pandemic. I write this petition in encouragement of some entertainment company looking into and hopefully producing a series of short films or regular television show following Mary Pope Osborne's books, Magic Tree House series.

As a young adult I can thankfully look back onto my childhood and reminisce learning about science, folklore, and history (to name a few subjects) in Osborne's stories following main characters, Jack and Annie. It is were I learned that your head releases the most body heat, how awful the diet of people on the frontier was, how in several occasions women have played in history, and that imagination and emotions are very valid and important in life. 

As the remote learning grows in regard to Covid and a possible future of more remote learning, it is imperative that parents who have to work, children being homeschooled, and a good foundation of early development is set. Being said, Mary Pope Osborne's books, Magic Tree House series, could easily step into the role of given an opportunity.
