So there is a petition to take down the show “Big Mouth”, an ADULT ANIMATION, on Netflix due to it being inappropriate. Yes it is a cartoon, yes children are drawn to cartoons. However, if you want to take down “Big Mouth” you might as well take down “American Dad”, “Family Guy”, “Futurama”, “Rick and Mitty”, “South Park” and more. The show depicts the experiences in these pre-teens life while going through puberty and discovering their sexuality. It is not meant to be a children’s show. If your child is watching it then you as a parent failed to monitor what your child is watching and what your child can and cannot view. I feel like this show most accurately depicts what it is like going through puberty while personifying the hormones these kids are experiencing by providing the Hormone Monsters, they are not devils. If you do not like the show, do not watch it. Plain and simple. Don’t ruin a good show for the rest of us because you don’t monitor your children Karen.
