Get Will and grace on Netflix!

Can you believe it’s now been a decade since Will and Grace was on TV? Us neither. The popular NBC show has never yet appeared on Netflix but with Friends appearing along with other NBC shows, isn’t it about time Will & Grace arrived onto Netflix? We certainly think so anyway. We’re going to look at the possibilities today as to whether or not the show is likely to start streaming in the next few years.
If you’ve never heard of it before, Will and Grace was a super popular American sitcom that spawned the careers of Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes. The show ran from 1998 up until 2006. 194 episodes were produced across 8 solid seasons before graciously wrapping up in 2006.
The premise of the show isn’t too dissimilar from many other sitcoms but the way that Will & Grace was executed is why it still remains a classic to this day. The plot revolved around Will, a gay lawyer and a straight interior designer who get up to all kind of trouble in New York City. The show was notably quite ahead of its time when it came to highlighting LGBT issues.
So will Will & Grace be on Netflix anytime soon? The answer is probably not. Although NBC broadcasted the show throughout its years it still remains heavily syndicated which is currently done by WeTV and Logo TV. Warner Brothers owns the remaining distribution rights and have opted for other methods of this particular show.
That’s not to say never however because a deal was struck in 2015 to bring all of Friends to Netflix who has the same distributor as Will & Grace. This isn’t going to be cheap for Netflix however, so they need to see enough support and demand for the show to justify putting an offer in at Warner Bros.
