It’s worse than the coronavirus and more devising than wars of ages past. The celebrities who we have adored are turning their backs on the law enforcement who have fought valiantly to protect us from violent, hardened criminals. They want to defund police. They, who live in gated communities and walled gardens, want to leave our communities defenseless. 

Let’s show these privileged people that we can cut their paychecks in half. Do your part in denouncing these bigoted actions against the tried and true police force. Let’s bankrupt these entertainment companies, let’s defund actors who haven’t fought for anything their whole lives, let’s show them their platforms need to be for entertainment purposes only. 

I know we love entertainment, it’s pure escapism. But the actions of actors need to be on their own personal terms and not demanding on social media. They need to realize we, the people, support them in making more content for us. They’re no better, they’re not the law makers, and they have no right to demand the defunding of law enforcement, especially when it would interfere with their secluded living in their elite housing in gated communities. 

Defund them and maybe they’ll see who has the real power.
