Every black woman that I know has been waiting patiently for Girlfriends to be added to Netflix.  We miss Joan, Toni, Maya and Lynn.  The majority of us have never seen Friends and don't have any desire to watch it.  After learning that Netflix is spending millions to keep Friends in rotation we are shocked and disgusted because we know that they can get Girlfriends for a fraction of the cost.  

Girlfriends provides positive representation of professional black women and this is not something that we see everyday.
