Petition for Sustainable Cocoa

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

The chocolate industry is worth 101 billion dollars. However, while countless amounts of people are mindlessly buying, have you ever stopped to think about how chocolate is created? Cocoa farmers work day and night in order to provide us with the delicious dessert. Yet, did you know they only get paid $2-$4 a day? The cocoa farming industry is not as good as it looks. Not only is it unfair to the workers, but if it will be practiced like this, we won’t be able to have chocolate anymore. We strongly believe that cocoa farming needs to become more sustainable in order to support the environment and the economy of many countries.

By signing this petition, you are agreeing to be aware of what chocolate you buy and its sustainability. You are pledging to make the green choice and not support chocolate companies that do not use sustainable cocoa farming, such as:

  • Aero
  • Cadbury
  • Crunch
  • Ferrero Rocher
  • Godiva
  • Kit Kat
  • Lindt
  • Mars Bars
  • M&M’s
  • Nestlé
