We are deeply saddened by the loss of Churston Woods (Ball Copse and the Grove) and demand that the council make firm commitments to preserve the area as both a public amenity and an area for wildlife. This must include the planting of native broadleafed trees and shrubs, as specified in the Ecological Appraisal.
