This petition is to get the city to make some needed changes to Coldwater Canyon Drive to improve the safety of its residents.  Some of the issues we are facing are:

1.  Dangerous conditions when turning into or out of our driveways due to others speeding

2.  Difficulty crossing the street due to speeding cars that are unwilling to stop 

3.  Daily speeding on our street well above 55 MPH

4.  Passing in the "No passing" median

5.  Constantly getting our mirrors side swiped when parked on the street

6.  Late night drag racing

7.  Dangerous road conditions for bicyclists

What we are proposing:  Get rid of the median and allow safe street parking.  Reduce the speed limit to 25 MPH to be the same as all other residential streets in the city of Beverly Hills.  Put stop signs on Coldwater at all intersections (Lago Vista, Loma Linda, etc.). Implementation of more officers to enforce the new rules.
