We as residents have been suffering for the past month due to negligent security measures on behalf of Factory Design District. There are no security cameras in the complex in areas that desperately need them due to recent crime. 

We have now had two fires within the past month in trash rooms which have set off the fire alarms at both 2:30am and 8:30am respectively. This has caused distress to residents, children, and pets. 

Early this morning on 5/5/2022 there was a shooting on the 4th floor of the apartment complex. Over thirty rounds were shot and a resident was injured and had to be taken to the hospital. 

This shooting also caused a water main to break and we have not had accessible water since. It has been over 11 hours without running water and that is completely unacceptable. 

On 5/2/2022 there was also a drive-by shooting, allegedly random, that happened on Turtle Creek Boulevard near Factory Design District. All of these incidents have happened in the past month and it is unacceptable.

The complex has taken zero measures to ensure the safety of its residents and we must fight back. We have to demand cameras in the stairwells, trash rooms, hallways, elevators, amenity rooms, and garages. 

Sign this petition in order to prove to management that we will not be walked over. We want our community to be safe and prosperous, and they NEED to help us.
