The hospital is well equipped with various facilities like X-ray room, USG room, fridge or freezer for medicines and vaccines , operation theater, cages and many more. But they are not helping actually. They have no staff to operate those machines. They do not do any kind of Sterilization there. As we know it is the main need in our district, where dog population is quite high. When we go there for any kind of treatment of poor street animals, apart from primary treatment they always tell us to go to Belgachia Hospital in Kolkata which is far away from our location. The expenses like taxi fare, and another facilities are very high. Sometimes, we can't afford it or sometimes the poor animals die due to long journeys.
