I, a teenager, am advocating for the health department and schools to provide a sufficient healthcare system and student help.

Last year, just as everyone thought the pandemic would end, I received word that one of my friends, who was only 16, had committed suicide; I was devastated. I phoned his parents every day to encourage them, but he was everything to him, and I could not help them. I was helpless. Now, a student I met in a school program ran away from his house a few days ago and has not been heard from since.
With so much labor daily, the educational system is pushing students into discontent and worry. Moreover, during the pandemic, children carry a huge burden of responsibility for their family's health and exams.

There hasn't been more need for mental health facilities that persists now. But, we must help the teenagers in our culture. Stress and depression now affect every teen on the planet, not just a chosen few. This pandemic is wreaking havoc on us, and we have no one to turn to for assistance. For days, I was depressed, lonely, and agitated, with no possibility of getting help, so I know how they feel.

Teenagers require someone to talk to, someone they can trust, whom they can share their life experiences. Friendships are scarcely enough to fulfill that position. Schools must be aware of their student's health needs and provide for them. Because of this lack of support, the suicide rate among students has been rising. Now is the time to shatter it!

As a result, I implore you to join this petition to support your child and others throughout the world. We need to encourage the need for mental health facilities in school to help teenagers get out of their minds and be happy again! Don't let any teenager like my friend commit suicide again. You have the ability to save the life of adolescents. Thank you very much.
