I would like a a change to the statute In Nebraska to add accessory as a possible charge. It is unconscionable that a person is charged with gun charges that has never held a gun. We need to hold people accountable for the wrongs they do but let the punishment fit the crime. How is it we have people in prison for life for Murder and they didn't pull the trigger or actually kill anyone? This type of reform is an important one. The charge of Murder should actually apply to those that murder not those that were there. An important distinction is in cases where law enforcement is charged for this type of crime, only the officer who committed the crime is held accountable not their partner(s). This should also be true for the citizens of Nebraska. How is it right to be charged for a crime someone else chose to do without your knowledge because you were there? This is a serious violation of the  rights of the citizens of Nebraska. Adding accessory as a charge instead of charging everyone the same allows justice to be served and for the punishment to fit the crime.
