Kiran Chaudhari started this petition to Ncert, State education department and

In our constitution, Article 18 tells us about the abolition of titles like Maharaja, Rai Bahadur, Rai Saheb and etc. As these are against the principle of equal status to all.
But from childhood we have been hearing the stories of Raja & Sevak. And in schools we were also taught about the titles like Lord, Sir in a wide sense. In history books there is wide use of these words or titles. And in our daily routine or in some institutions there is a ritual, if you want your work to be done, then you must address him/her as Saheb/Madam ITNA KAAM KARKE DO. Then he/she will do your work quite easily. And if you address him/her by his/her name or assigned post then he/she will throw you a stare or ignore you as if you said nothing to him/her or they will assume as if you are being rude. And I think it is not their fault. They have learned it from academics, society and lastly the environment in which they are growing.
I want the Ministry of Human Resource Department to look into this issue. And also we should acknowledge it, as it gives a sense of discrimination in the class of society. And these things withhold the growth of the society which should be equal in its nature.
And the solution to this is quite simple. Academic books should remove the titles used before individual names like Sir John, Lord Rippon and etc. By the result of this, students shall no longer use the titles in their daily routine as they no longer learn it.
