NCAA must shut down Baylor's football program

Our women are worth more than our sports teams.
Between 2011-2014, 31 Baylor football players committed at least 52 acts of rape, including five gang rapes. Baylor turned a blind eye to previous reports, and these attackers went on to commit more sexual assaults. As sexual assaults often go unreported, it is likely even many more acts of sexual violence have occurred.
Baylor's "show 'em a good time" mentality perpetuates rape culture, and includes sexual violence as a form of hazing.
The NCAA must shut down this program immediately.
If cases like Brock Turner's have taught us anything, these individuals involved will likely receive little more than a slap on the wrist. It is the NCAA's duty to make sure the entire program is shut down to protect the women at the school and send a clear message that we value the safety and education of women.
