This is important because in division 1 NCAA sports your eligibility clock starts when you enroll full time at an institution and doesn't stop unless you have an injury, are in the military or have special circumstances. Once 5 years goes by in school your eligibility is over, even if you drop below 12 credits(full time student) the clock doesn't stop. I feel that this rule blocks many people's dreams of being a college athlete. Why can't the NCAA Division 1 have a new rule that your clock starts once you are on the roster for a season then only a year of eligibility gets taken away. There has to be a program that can be made up to keep track of this.
