I work very hard at what I do and it kills me to see most of my co-workers go all day while barely doing any work whatsoever. It's our fault these roads take 2x-3x as long as what our leaders originally quoted the state. It's our fault people are forced to take detours for much longer than they're supposed to. It's our fault people run late every single day when construction/repair work should've ended months ago.

I appreciate working for a company that allows us to have work pretty much year-round, but there are better ways to go about it than having to rely on this level of dishonesty.

Most of the work we're doing isn't even necessary, it's taking tax dollars from North Carolina's citizens and in return, making them late for work where they go to try and earn those very tax dollars. It's time our industry was rectified and made better, the only way that can happen is if we're cancelled and forced to change.
