Decision Maker Response

Verla Insko’s response

Verla Insko
State Representative

Dec 10, 2013 — Thanks to everyone who has contacted me about the critical need to clearn up Jordan Lake now and immediately to implement the 2009 rules. I voted against delaying the rules and will continue to work to get the rules implented. Until we do that, the pollution will only get worse. As a former member and chair of the OWASA Baord of Directors, I've been working on this issue for at least 25 years.I won;t stop now.

If you oppose what is happening to Jordan Lake, get involved in the political process. The only way to stop the destruction is to elect more moderate and progressive legislators.
