Fire Nancy Snyderman

Snyderman became aware that she was potentially exposed to the Ebola virus when her cameraman, Ashoka Mukpo, became ill from the virus. On October 9, 2014, Nancy Snyderman, and members of her crew, violated their voluntary quarantine. These actions made it clear that Snyderman and her crew could not be trusted to voluntarily keep others safe by maintaining their 21-day quarantine, so the New Jersey Department of Health issued Snyderman and her crew with a mandatory quarantine.
Nancy Snyderman behaved in an unethical manner and violated the public’s trust. This type of behavior is entirely inconsistent with her obligation as Chief Medical Editor at NBC News. If NBC news is to be a credible news agency, it must have credible employees. Nancy Snyderman lost her credibility and should no longer keep her job with NBC News. We are demanding that NBC fire Nancy Snyderman from her position as Chief Medical Editor.
