The character Ben Weston is a serial killer who set a woman on fire, stole her newborn baby, shot the midwife in the head, strangled a 19yo while she was in the shower, and murdered other people.

When the mother of the 19yo asked about her daughter's wearabouts, he laughed and said she was pushing daisies. 

The head writer wants us to see the killer as a romantic lead. Recently he's been harassing his amnesiac wife, refusing to leave her alone, and nearly injecting her with a substance he believed would help her get her memory back.

This storytelling is dangerous. Misogyny and violence against women is worldwide, and we don't need have a major broadcasting network glorifying it on show watched by millions.
