Consistency in play calling by NBA REFS

Consistency in play calling by NBA REFS
Consistency is the evenness with which officials make decisions irrespective of game situations and other external pressures. A referee needs to clearly establish early the way the game is going to be called, and then must maintain the same interpretations throughout the entire game.
Qualities such as integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and respect are integral to the role of the official.
Seven Qualities of a Great Sports Official
INTEGRITY. A great sports official is the last guardian of honesty in athletics.
HUSTLE. Since officiating is a game of angles and positioning, officiating hustle describes movement and court position.

CONSISTENCY
COURAGE
COMMON SENSE.
If we have a collision at one end of the court and we see the entire play, we must call it a charge or block based on what we see. If we have a similar collision at the other end of the court and we see the entire play, we should have a charge or block depending on what happened. That means we could have a charge on one end of the court and a block at the other end. We are being consistent because we will be calling them right at each end of the court. See the play and call it as you see it.
AS FANS WE NEED CONSISTENCY IN PLAY CALLING…
