Nayef El-Barghouty: Not to practice medicine again

This group has been put together to protest against the return of this incompetent surgeon practicing in our NHS again.

The surgeon Mr El-Barghouty had worked as a vascular and general surgeon at Scarborough Hospital for 15 years, before being sacked in August 2011.

In 2006, we, the pickup family lost our fabulous dad after recieving surgery from this surgeon, resulting in a facial artery been cut, this caused asphyxiation in recovery causing brain damage and death.  Although there was clear evidence of this mistake during surgery, the case was dropped because the surgeon was seen to be competent by a specialist allowing the surgeon to carry on practicing, later to cause the death of Mr Taylor and the severe damage to Mrs Roches' vocal chords.

Mr Taylor died after undergoing three operations in one day to remove an aneurysm in his leg. The operations were made necessary due to mistakes made by the surgeon.

Also it emerged Mr El-Barghouty had lied under oath about the size of the aneurysm during the inquest into Mr Taylor’s death.

A second patient, Joanne Roche, 42, from Bridlington, was left with damaged vocal chords after having her thyroid gland removed by Mr El-Barghouty in 2008.

We need to stop this monster from praciticing in our NHS hospitals again..
