Navarro ISD has seen great growth and it's time that soccer is added to Panther Athletics. The reputation of Navarro athletics in our district and area speak for themselves and now we can add soccer with the number of great student athletes available. Our young men and women already have district opponents in soccer and our current enrolled soccer athletes either must play league exclusively or opt to transfer to other schools to compete in high school soccer. It also increases the opportunities for our student athletes to get exposure to top collegiate soccer programs locally, state-wide, and nationally. Our district was without soccer because our enrollment didn't allow for enough student athletes to field a team. Now that we've gone from 2A to 4A and massive growth projected for the next few years, we need to organize and establish our soccer program now so that we can be competing at the state tournament level as soon as possible. Please consider signing this petition if you are a Navarro High School student who would play soccer if it was available, or if you are a parent of a student athlete not yet in high school and want a program available for your child when they reach the high school level.
