The Navarro County Judge and Commisioners have the votes to allow Solar Farms to pay millions to our school and surrounding area.

With the tax abatement over the next ten years, Kerens ISD will receive an additional $20 million dollars plus in taxes.  Currently this land generates less than $18,000.00 in taxes for the entire county per year.  This will enable the Kerens ISD School Board to continue to lower their taxes over the next ten years saving the taxpayers money.   

LET THE Solar Farms PAY YOUR SCHOOL TAXES FOR YOU.

$2.35 million for Navarro County
$2.7 million for Fairfield Hospital District
$1.52 million for County Roads and Bridges
$7.32 million for Navarro Emergency Services District

Why do we need to sign a petition for this great opportunity? 

Evidently the commissioners and/ or judge are not seeing the economic impact for our area. 

These same incentives were given to energy companies in the Blooming Grove school district where they are already benefitting monetarily.  

We want the same incentives so our tax payers, students and teachers will benefit as well!
