Save NatWest Ferryhill!

NatWest has announced the closure of the bank in Ferryhill County Durham from the 4th June 2018. This appalling decision by NatWest will leave Ferryhill with no Bank whatsoever. This closure will mean that people will have a considerable journey to their nearest NatWest Bank.
While there are a number of people using online banking many of Ferryhill residents old and young do not use this facility or know how to. This will cause elderly residents to feel more isolated and will put strain on the already busy Post Office who offer a limited banking service.
NatWest bank in Ferryhill is rarely seen without queues, often there are queues before opening times. The Bank is used and needed in the town, and this will be proven with a headcount survey which will be handed in along with this petition.
We the residents of Ferryhill are calling on NatWest to reverse this closure in favour of a minimum 3 day a week service.
