As a church treasurer (of several churches!) all using the NatWest bank in Faversham I am really disappointed that they are closing. This is the only bank left in the town alongside one building society.  So much can be done with online banking but we will not be able to bank the collections which are always cash. So many of our local charities and fund raising events use NatWest bank.  It is suggested that we bank Natwest funds into the Post Office but since the Faversham Post Office has been taken over it has less staff and queues out of the door most days.

We have so many new homes built and still being built so surely keeping the bank open makes sense.

The staff in NatWest have always been the most efficient and friendly and we will miss them when the bank closes. They are especially good with disabled and elderly customers.
