The Russian people are being lied to by their leaders.  Their media would have them believe that Russia is justified in invading Ukraine, as Mr Putin has told them he is stamping out Nazism and Genocide.  Surveys of the Russian population have shown that many people either support the war or are apathetic as they do not understand the real reasons and the huge consequences of the invasion.

Many Russians know the truth but are afraid to speak out for fear of violent retribution towards them and their families. For this reason, only a massive groundswell of public opinion would allow people to speak out against the state.

This petition proposes that NATO and allies should print millions of leaflets explaining in detail what Russia has done and the consequences to the peace-loving Ukrainian people and also to Russia itself through sanctions.  These should be delivered over Russian airspace using stealth-bombers to prevent a further escalation in this horrible war.

Russia must stop this invasion immediately.  If Mr Putin loses the support of his people he will have little choice but to end this war.  

Please, NATO and allies, send paper not bombs!!!
