With the passing of Dave and Phife we are losing our legends too quickly. In the 90’s we were teased with the possibility of a super group called Native Tongue. With only Q-Tip and Pos left as front runners I feel like it’s no better time to make it happen. Each group of Tribe and De La has influenced so many artists and producers that would make for a great project. Common, Phonte, Mos Def, Andre 3000 and many more could make for memorable features. With beats from Tip, Pete Rock, Premier and others this could be a classic for the ages.
