Water for Lower White Hall Blackstonedge St Ann Jamaica WI
Residents of the district of White Hall Blackstonedge , St Ann , Jamaica have been without water for over 10years, in spite of multiple attempts by residents to get the attention of the government their agencies and representatives.
The water lines were covered up by roadwork as authorize by National water commission as they were old and were laid underground the by the side of the road. The plan was to upgrade pipes and placement. Pipes were brought to the area but later taken up and never replaced.
Resident were left to fend for themselves they have been buying water from private supply with questionable potability or depend on rainfall and water holes which, with climate change is now infrequent and sparse.
