Lack of transparency and irrelevant result in NEET 2021!

There had been a lot of speculations revolving around the transparency of conduction and result declaration of NEET - 2021, conducted by National Testing Agency: an independent examination controlling body of Government of India.
The examination was held on September 13, 2021 and results were declared on November 1, 2021, the mode of declaration being private emails to the candidates instead of publishing on the NTA website. In addition, the rank list displayed very irregular patterns with the number of candidates accumulated around and above the government college mbbs seat cutoff.
There had already been news of paper leaks reported by various reputed media houses and, therefore, the speculation and fear that a large portion of candidates qualifying for the government seats have resorted to malicious and illegal ways. Following the paper leak, no stringent action had been initiated by the government.
A second round of registration had also been initiated from the side of the governing body, but without any fresh round of examinations being held. A whole lot information is being held by the government and an environment of secrecy and distrust exists due to lack of transparency and adequate actions against wrongly qualified candidates.
Therefore, we urge the government and NTA to order investigation into the results and take necessary steps to eliminate the cheaters and fraudsters. We also urge the government to re-publish results or undertake fresh round of examinations, whichever required, as well as punish the wrong do-ers so as to set example.
