The issue facing Security Personnel on a continual basis, is being on the front lines in emergency situations and in the line of duty unarmed. In these uncertain times of active shooter events and other violence, it is imperative that all Security Personnel be armed while on duty. As of right now, Security Personnel has the opportunity to receive armed certification through states that require a Guard Card, however a particular post may be an unarmed post, which is almost always the case in this line of work.
