NPR -stop supporting Trump

From the start of his campaign Donald Trump has consistently avoided accuracy and consistency. This is obviously an effective strategy- avoid facts and go for visceral reaction.
We are calling for an intentional avoidance of engaging in this strategy. We are asking that very minimal time and resources be spent on these distracting topics ( change of white house staff, bragging about anything, inflammatory statements that have no substance. ETC ETC.) so that the real stories of how our national resources (including national parks and public lands) and our national ideals (education for all, civil rights for all ETC ETC) are being undermined.
We recognize and commend NPR for many years of fine service and focus on important issues. We are asking that this focus continues and that only one or two lines of speech per day is needed to inform us that the president is up to his usual mode of operations (distraction of the public at large so that the money and resources can be taken from the public).
We need to know what is going on behind that veil of distraction. IE pipelines and timber sales (if done poorly), privatization of national parks, lack of affordable and effective education and health care, what is the effect of the federal government's hiring freeze, the status of pure science, the deregulation of banking, environmental degradation ETC ETC -all in practical terms for regular people.
This is a call for politics to stop being self congratulatory entertainment and instead become (Or in the case of NPR continue as you have historically ) informational so we can act to make our world better.
