Comrade Thabang Ramphalane started this petition to National Parliament of the RSA

Most people's identity were stolen or destroyed by the apartheid regime. My name and surname were stolen as they are not called or spelled correctly. For me to make changes I have to pay. I want the National assembly to make a law or provision for government to pay for the cost of correcting those errors. It is painful to be called Rampalane or Ramapalane whereas your real surname is Ramphalane. There are many South Africans who are just like me and they want to claim their identity. I am calling all South Africans to sign the petition for the South African government to do something for us to get our real identity.
