I was diagnosed with Granuloma Annulare the first time in 2013 with one spot and again in 2015 and now it is all over my body. Granuloma annulare (GA) is a common skin condition of unknown cause.
The problem is this is suppose to be rare however in looking for support groups on Facebook I find there are over 3,000 people on there with this skin disease and people have had it for 20, 30 and 40 plus years. Why is this skin disease not being researched to find a cure?
It is said to not be life threatening but it sure can be depressing which in some people could be life threatening. It sure can alter your quality of life having GA all over your body. We know what this is doing on the outside of our bodies but do not know what it may be doing to our insides. This Disease does not only afflict adults it afflicts children too! We all PRAY FOR A CURE!
I would like to see research being done to help all of us that are dealing with GA. There are so many people that a cure would help all over the world.
