BJP leaders promise NTPC jobs to 15 accused of Dadri lynching
0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,500!
All the 15 accused of lynching and killing Mohammad Akhlaq in Dadri, September 28th 2015, have been granted bail, and promised contractual jobs in NTPC by BJP MLA from Dadri, Tejpal Nagar. By promising jobs in the public sector to people accused of murder, the Government is sending out a clear signal to the people that it condones the murder of Mohammad Akhlaq, that it encourages such violence against minorities. It is a blatant violation of human rights and a blatant attempt to embolden anti-social elements. Such signals sent out to the people of India is dangerous because it empowers violent elements thereby making worse an already deteriorating law and order situation. Once such lumpens are empowered they will not stop at attacking minorities but will attack women, the vulnerable, regular citizens with impunity and become a menace for everyone in society. I appeal the Human Rights Commission to look into this and negotiate with the government to not do this.
