Dear SC and NGT,

Every year a ban is imposed on Construction Activities in Delhi, NCR owing to increased Pollution Levels post Diwali. The said ban stays for almost two months effecting millions of home buyers, with developers taking undue advantage of the situation. They blame the ban for their inability to find labor even post lifting of the ban... 

The home buyers suffer severely both emotionally and financially. All our hard earned money ends up being paid as rent or hefty interests to the banks and also losing out on tax benefits. The endless wait for our homes is agonizing and extremely painful.

As much as we want our homes, we also want a Pollution free environment for us and our future generations, through this petition we urge you to start taking measures and make all concerned authorities accountable and must be penalized for failing to do so before Diwali.. We suggest strictest of actions like banning MPs and MLAs from contesting any elections for a period of 5 years if they fail to stop stubble burning in their constituencies, suspending Pollution board officers for allowing deviation from local norms etc.

We hope to have your attention well on time to safeguard both home buyers and environment..
