The oceans in this world have been over polluted and are a waste bucket for tons of trash. This trash is than being taken in by mammals living in the ocean such as turtles, dolphin, fish, and others. It’s also effecting the coral and natural habitats of the oceans. These plastics are effecting the mammals and habitats a lot and the numbers have increased in pollution. Our oceans serve a lot of oxygen for the world despite the fact that most of our trees are being taken down due to deforestation. If we could help by using reusable items instead of plastic it could help reduce the amount.
