There is an absolute argument to insure Tom Brady receives the NFL MVP this year.  Not just because he is retiring but for what he achieved this year and last.

We can start with just the last two years.  First year starting QB for a team that hadn’t reached the playoffs since 2007, and hadn’t been to a Super Bowl since 2002.  In his 2nd year, he reached the playoffs again after leading his team to a 13-4 record and literally having the best year in his entire career.  And….at age 44!!!!

The other person being spoke of is Aaron Rodgers, who had the same record (13-4) and also lost in the playoffs.  Did I mention all the stats Brady achieved this season, led the league in the following,  5316 passing yards, 43 touchdowns, 719 passing attempts, and 322.7 passing yards per game compared to Rodgers only leading the league in his passer rating while being a distraction for his team by not showing for a practice as well as complaining about his organization and let’s not forget the vaccination drama.
