We, lovers and caregivers of our feathery friends, are signing this petition to express the need and desire for preserving the beautiful heritage of bird keeping in this urbanised city-state of Singapore.

We believe that will greatly increase the quality of life significantly for bird lovers, many of whom belongs to our pioneer generation, who has contributed greatly to building Singapore to what it is today.

The bird hanging corner is a safe place where many law-abiding pioneer generation and bird lovers gather and pass their time. The bird hanging corners are places where the kampong spirit still exits and they encourages community development among different racres in Singapore.

We are not asking for more bird hanging corners. We are asking the government to preserve this unique heritage of Singapore and stop tearing down our bird hanging corners.
