Amidst this crisis of the pandemic as well as lack of health facilities in the nation. NEB is preparing to conduct +2 examinations in less than three weeks. After a complete year of online education, this decision is not only unfair but completely irrational.

400,000 students, not eligible to get vaccinated yet, have to be mobilized around the country for 2 weeks which is bound to shoot up the speed of the third wave and the pandemic in the country.

Furthermore, Despite WHO and the Health Ministry of Nepal suggesting to go for the alternative solution, NEB expects students currently infected with the virus to attend the exams. This not only raises a lot of questions about the health and spread of the virus but also concerns about what NEB's true motives are behind conducting this exam.

Safely conducting exams at such times does not seem possible, but still, authorities are hellbent on the conduction of exams. So much that districts with prohibitory orders have also allowed exams to be conducted with no idea of how students will travel or the effects on their mental health.

We demand our government and authorities to be more mindful about our health, the state of the pandemic in the country and become accountable to possible damages.

In a democracy established 70+ years ago, this shouldn't be hard to do.
