End Death Penalty in Florida

Florida is said to have executed 100 - 400 inmates since 1976, and the major method is electrocution. There have been a total of 4,374 executions using the method of electrocution. 84 of those executions have been botched, and for every time a person is attempted to be electrocuted, there is a 1.92% chance that it will fail. Lethal Injection is also a form of execution that is legal in Florida. 1054 inmates have been executed with this method, and 75 have botched. There is about a 10% chance that this form of execution can fail. Imagine having to suffer for possibly months, after having had attempted to take your life away. A life sentence in prison with no parole is far worse than a execution. Not only, does it cause pain to the executioners family, but it breaks the 8th Amendment of the United States Constitution stating, " ...nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted." The only people that can stop this from happening are the citizens of Florida. Your vote matters.
