Nigel Wilson started this petition to National Archives

30 years ago I was only above the Leppings Lane at Hillsborough because of an expensive ticket I could barely afford.  Thanks to that ticket,  my life was saved and because of my quick thinking I helped a fan up long before the emergency services realised what was happening. I started a human chain that resulted in many fans getting to safety.

It was long after this that people were helped out of the Leppings Lane at pitch level.

Two detectives later coerced me into parting with my ticket promising I could have it back.  The National Archives has since acquired it and refuse to return my ticket hiding behind judicial procedure.  My ticket will have no say on judicial matters and will just sit neglected in a box somewhere as it has done so for decades already.

I am an unsung hero and deserve more respect. Please sign my petition to pressurise the National Archives into doing the right thing.

My ticket saved many lives including my own.  I am it's rightful owner, it has been stolen from me and it hurts me perhaps more than it should.
