The NAS amended their bylaws in June 2019 to allow expulsion of members who were found guilty of sexual harassment. Have there been any complaints reported to begin expulsion? I understand that there are 6 current members of NASEM who have been found guilty of sexual harassment.

I'm a student of environmental science because it feels like the most important thing to me. I don't want to have to reconsider because of tolerance for predators and racists.

Keeping people in power who have harassed others is wrong. The reason we don’t understand diseases that impact women and minorities is because these scientists are rarely supported and often abused.

I am a PhD-holding pharmacologist who has experienced sexual harrassment in the lab, and I want to make sure that students, especially female students, can receive the training they need in a safe environment.

I'm signing because my students - women AND men - are watching to see what I value. They are watching you too.
