NIGERIA CAN GIVE FREE MEDICAL TREATMENTS TO HER CITIZENS.

Nigeria is a Country blessed with very many natural resources that is enough to take good care of her citizens but most people still live in abject poverty. It is always very painful to know and watch Nigerians die because they don't have money to get good treatments in the hospital.

Many Nigerians die as a result of simple sicknesses that can be prevented through check-up, routine medical interventions or simple treatments that can be obtained with little money, but because of lack of funds, many die without even attempting to go to hospital, whereas some visit hospital but cannot afford the needed money for treatments.

Nigerian government should as a matter of urgency and need, pass a law that will enable all Nigerian citizens to have access to National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) so as to grant them opportunity to receive free medical treatments in all government and private NHIS approved Hospitals when sick.

This is not more than what a country can do for her citizens. The western world do same. This is not more than the Nigerian wealth that our politicians are stealing and mismanaging on daily basis.

Let the life of the poor Nigerians count.
